Portuguese intelligence authorities had no prior knowledge of threats directed at the prime minister and the head of state. According to what has been made public, the PJ and the MP possessed data on aggressive plans by an extremist group, but did not transmit them to the SIS.
The Armorial Movement of Lusitania is associated with these plans of aggression. The absence of data sharing among the country's various security bodies highlights failures in coordination between entities that should be collaborating in the protection of the top figures of the Portuguese State.
