The Prime Minister's office has issued an alert about a fraud attempt that exploits the name of Luís Montenegro and the head of his office. The perpetrators contact victims by email and through the WhatsApp application.
According to a statement released on Monday evening, several people have been targeted by this scam. The messages request the completion of a document designated as a "confidentiality agreement", invoking the identity of the head of the executive and his closest collaborator.
Montenegro's team has clarified that it has already filed a complaint with the relevant authorities to investigate the case.
