An individual aged 54, involved in drug trafficking, fatally stabbed a 41-year-old man in Ferreiros de Avões, municipality of Lamego. The crime took place in a car park situated a short distance from the residence where the victim was heading for a family lunch.
The victim, Ivo Moreira, entered the aggressor's vehicle — a two-seater van — at which point he was attacked with a knife. The motives for the homicide are connected to issues related to drug use.
The Judicial Police from Vila Real proceeded with the detention of the presumed perpetrator of the crime.
