A network comprising 22 people, suspected of trading psychoactive substances in nighttime entertainment venues in the capital, has been dismantled by DIICOT prosecutors. The investigation revealed the group's plans to expand its activities to musical events scheduled in open air in the near future.

According to Radio România Actualități, those involved were placed in handcuffs and are to be brought before a judge with a request for provisional detention.

During raids, law enforcement discovered and seized drugs in significant quantities: marijuana, ketamine, cocaine and approximately several dozen ecstasy pills. Additionally, premium automobiles and illegally held non-lethal airsoft weapons were found.

Investigators established that the suspects were promoting their offer on social media networks, announcing where they would be present to attract buyers. Another important lead shows that the offenders were intensively preparing to supply drugs to upcoming festivals on the calendar.
