Two individuals were held in temporary custody on suspicion of selling psychoactive substances in Galați municipality, following an operation by DIICOT.

An investigation conducted by DIICOT – Brașov Territorial Service led to the temporary detention of two men suspected of distributing narcotics in the Galați area.
The first suspect, a 22-year-old man, is suspected of having sold cannabis in the city during March and April of this year, at prices of approximately 600–650 lei.
The second defendant, aged 28, is alleged to have sold both cannabis and a synthetic substance known as 3CMC or "crystal", with amounts ranging between 500 and 1,500 lei.
During the investigation, the investigators confiscated the drugs found on the two men. At searches carried out at the suspects' residences, bags and containers contaminated with substances were found, precision scales, cash in national currency, and other evidence.
Judges at Brașov Court issued preventive arrest warrants for one month for both individuals.
Officers from the Organised Crime Fighting Brigade in Brașov and Galați, as well as gendarmes from the Galați County Inspectorate, participated in the operation.
