Two individuals suspected of delivering drugs in Galați have been remanded in custody by the court in Brașov. The decision to remand them in custody for 30 days was made on 24 June, after the two had initially been detained for one day. The information was published by Buna Ziua Brașov.

One of them, aged 22, is accused of selling cannabis in the Danube city in March and April 2026, demanding between 620 and 650 lei for a portion. The other, aged 28, is said to have sold both cannabis and 3CMC – a synthetic substance commonly known as "crystal" – at sums ranging from 500 to 1,500 lei.

Investigators confiscated prohibited materials found on the suspects. On 23 June, police conducted raids at three locations, from which they seized packages containing drug residues, electronic scales, cash in the national currency and other evidence. The two were taken to the police station, and subsequently the court ordered them deprived of liberty for a period of one month.
