Investigators in Craiova have apprehended four individuals accused of selling prohibited substances in the city. Two of them are already in custody, with arrest warrants for 30 days.

Law enforcement in Bănie have dealt a powerful blow to drug dealers. Organised crime prosecutors and officers from Craiova's Special Brigade have documented, in two separate cases, the activity of four suspects who allegedly sold drugs on the streets of the municipality.
In the first case, two men aged 27 are accused of procuring and reselling cannabis and cocaine from the beginning of 2025 until June 2026. Following raids carried out at their homes, investigators found drugs already divided into doses, measuring devices, chopping utensils and objects contaminated with psychoactive substances. Magistrates at the Court of Dolj decided to remand the two in custody for one month.
In the second case, a 17-year-old teenager and a 19-year-old youth are suspected of repeatedly selling cocaine in May-June. The two were caught whilst delivering 25 grammes of white powder, packaged in 49 small sachets. During the search, containers used for distribution were discovered, a bag with white powder to be analysed by experts, plus cash. Prosecutors requested and obtained preventive arrest for this pair as well.
Gendarmes from Craiova Mobile Group provided operational support in both operations.
