An 18-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were detained in the city of Constanța after being caught collecting a package containing narcotic substances from an international courier company. The parcel contained three kilograms of crystalline material and was sent from a neighbouring country to the east.
Law enforcement officers conducted raids on the homes of the two individuals, where they found suspicious ecstasy tablets, cannabis, a grinding device, objects contaminated with traces of narcotics, a laptop computer and cash in local currency.
The investigation also targets two other people. A 25-year-old is already in preventative detention, suspected of selling dangerous substances in March and April. Another suspect, aged 19, is being sought by authorities and has not yet been located.
The operation is part of a broader case concerning the fight against the distribution of high-risk drugs on the coast.
