Two men convicted of dealing in prohibited substances have been taken from their homes and sent to prison.

On Thursday, 18 June, law enforcement officers in Făgăraș carried out two court orders whereby two local men were to be placed behind bars. The sentences were pronounced by judges at Brașov County Court.
The individuals in question are two men, aged 36 and 37, both residing in the municipality of Făgăraș. They had been found guilty of distributing dangerous narcotics. The judges imposed different sentences: the first was sentenced to 2 years and 10 months, whilst the second received 3 years in prison, the difference being determined by the circumstances of each case and the level of involvement.
Once located, the two men were taken into custody by authorities and transferred to Codlea Penitentiary, where they entered the prison system and will remain in custody during the term of their sentences.
