Three suspects have been detained by DIICOT prosecutors in Constanța in an investigation into the distribution of high-risk drugs in the area. The group is suspected of delivering narcotics including to minor users.
According to Ziarul Amprenta, a 38-year-old man allegedly purchased and resold dangerous psychoactive substances, including MDMB-4en-PINACA, between the end of 2025 and June 2026. Each sachet was sold for 20 lei. The man allegedly used vehicles from his alternative transport activity to distribute the goods.
Two other alleged members of the network, a young man and a young woman, both aged 27, allegedly secured supplies of other synthetic drugs, including 5F-ADB and MDMB-INACA.
On 24 June 2026, investigators raided the suspects' homes. Over 400 grams of plant material fragments containing prohibited substances were found, around 22,000 lei in cash, a precision scale and other evidence. Approximately 140 doses prepared for sale were confiscated.
The three were brought before the judge for rights and freedoms at Constanța Court, with prosecutors requesting their arrest for one month. Officers from Constanța Mobile Gendarmerie Group also participated in the operation.
