Prosecutors from DIICOT have decided to send Tristan Tate and Georgiana Naghel to court in a separate case from the human trafficking one. The new charges relate to acts of assault and cybercrime offences, according to Euronews România.
The two are already being tried alongside Andrew Tate and another woman for rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal group.
According to the indictment, in October 2021, Naghel allegedly gained unauthorised access to a victim's account in the trafficking case and distributed compromising images on that person's social media platforms. The motive was reportedly revenge.
During the same period, the victim allegedly refused to produce pornographic content any longer and wanted to leave the house in Ilfov. At that point, at the instigation of Tristan Tate, Naghel allegedly physically assaulted her, prosecutors claim.
The investigation also shows that the Tate brothers allegedly lured young women by promising them romantic relationships, took them to a residence in Ilfov and forced them to film material subsequently distributed on adult platforms.
The case is now before the Ilfov County Court.
