The head of an office at the Infrastructure Ministry, Damijan Jaklin, is reported by media outlets to have received money in exchange for services. Despite this, he is reportedly not intending to leave his position. This is reported by 24ur.com.
The chairman of the NSi party and minister Jernej Vrtovec, under whose authority Jaklin falls, has so far announced no measures against him. The silence of the coalition is all the more striking because shortly before the recent elections, they loudly proclaimed a fight against corrupt practices.
Jaklin's authorities and party leadership have therefore not yet decided on any clear response to the allegations that are mounting around the influential official.
