Police in the Maribor and Slovenske Bistrice area are investigating two robberies that occurred on Friday and Saturday. The perpetrator threatened a shop assistant and took cash.

In recent days, two robbery attacks have been recorded in the Maribor area. The first occurred on Friday, when an unknown man attempted to rob the post office in Studenci. The second criminal act followed on Saturday at one of the companies near the town. Both cases are being handled by police units from Maribor and Slovenske Bistrice.
According to criminal investigators, the suspect is a man of medium height, between 165 and 170 centimetres, with a stockier build. At the time the act was committed, he was wearing a light brown jacket, blue jeans, a black cap with a peak and the letters "NY", black trainers with white trim, and bright red gloves.
During the attack on the post office, the attacker picked up an object that looked like a firearm, then threatened an employee and forced her to hand over some money from the till.
Police are now asking the public for help. Anyone who might recognise the person from photographs or has any information about their identity is urged to call 113 or the anonymous line 080 1200.
