Officers from Novo Mesto Police Unit are intensively searching for an armed perpetrator who robbed a petrol station in the Črnomelj area on Friday evening. Citizens are urged not to approach the Travni Dol area.

Late Friday evening, an unknown man armed with a weapon was caught during a robbery at a petrol station in the Črnomelj area. He fled in a delivery vehicle, and no one was injured in the incident.
Novo Mesto Police Unit immediately launched an extensive search operation following the report. In the early morning hours, officers tracked him near Travni Dol at Uršne Sele, and later also at Dobindol. A larger number of police officers are deployed on the ground across an expanded area.
The suspect is armed. According to criminal investigators' information, he is wearing short trousers and a dark shirt, has a dark beard, and is shaved on the head. If anyone spots him, they should not approach him but should immediately notify police on the emergency number 113.
Police additionally warn citizens not to approach the searched area and to carefully follow the instructions of the competent authorities.
