Witnesses observed a strong police presence, including members of special units wearing helmets and carrying automatic weapons, and reported hearing shots or loud noises.
The Ljubljana Police Directorate confirmed to Delo that activities were carried out. "We can only confirm that police in the Šmarna gora area and more broadly are conducting activities in connection with a report that today around 20:00 a dispute involving several persons occurred at a car park of one of the local bars. Loud noises were also heard," said the Ljubljana Police Directorate.
All persons involved left the scene before police arrived. Whether anyone was injured in the incident is not yet known. Police officers are continuing with intensive gathering of information about the circumstances of the incident.
