An evening beneath Šmarno gora was marked by gunfire in the car park of restaurant Mio Nonno. Ljubljana Police Department confirms extensive operation, perpetrators fled before units arrived.

Siol.net reports that gunshots rang out today at around 8 p.m. at the restaurant Mio Nonno (formerly Bizeljčan) near Šmarno gora. Several people were involved in an altercation in the car park in front of the restaurant, and witnesses reported hearing bangs.
The Ljubljana Police Authority confirmed to Siol.net that police are conducting extensive operations in the area of Šmarno and the wider region. "All persons involved left the scene before police arrived, and it is not yet known whether anyone was injured in the incident. Officers are continuing with intensive information gathering about all circumstances of the event," the Ljubljana Police Authority said.
Due to the police operation, the road past Šmarno gora was partially closed – officers allowed vehicles to pass the scene individually.
The Mio Nonno restaurant came to public attention a month ago when Tina Gaber, the wife of former Prime Minister Robert Golob, celebrated her 40th birthday there.
