Investigators from the Novo Mesto police unit conducted a search at a residential building near Brežice where a juvenile lives. During the search, they seized 199 rounds of small-calibre ammunition, according to 24ur.com.

The teenager is under the scrutiny of criminal investigators due to alleged involvement in serious offences. He is suspected of having been involved in the illegal acquisition and sale of substances on the list of banned drugs. Furthermore, he is burdened with the suspicion that he handled military material without authorisation – specifically firearms or explosives.

The police unit continues to gather evidence and analyse all factors related to the case. Based on the findings, action will be taken against the suspect within the scope of their legal authority, the authorities wrote in a statement to the public.

Decisions regarding further steps in the proceedings will be made once sufficient data has been collected.
