In mid-June, members of a specialised drug enforcement unit launched a large-scale operation codenamed DOKTOR. The raids are taking place in two regions in western Slovakia.
The aim of the police is to document and clarify criminal activity related to the illegal manufacture and distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances. As part of the operation, members are conducting house searches and inspections of other facilities and land. At the same time, they are detaining individuals where there is suspicion of involvement in this criminal activity.
Due to ongoing procedural actions, law enforcement bodies have not yet provided more detailed information about the scope of the operation or the number of detainees.
