Teenager arrested after mass shooting outside Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with attempted second-degree murder following a shooting that left 11 people wounded outside Florida A&M University after the school's homecoming football game, Tallahassee police announced Monday, as reported by 6abc.com.

The shooting took place Saturday night just outside Bragg Memorial Stadium, shortly after Florida A&M lost to Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Investigators say a fight broke out before the gunfire erupted, and that none of the victims appear to have been intended targets.

Authorities arrested the teenage suspect on Sunday. In addition to attempted second-degree murder, he faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a delinquent, according to a statement from Tallahassee police.

Of the 11 people struck by gunfire, six were minors, and at least three sustained serious injuries. A twelfth person was hurt while fleeing the scene.

The area was crowded with people leaving both the game and the homecoming celebrations when shots rang out. Video circulating on social media showed crowds running in panic from the stadium grounds.
