Pregnant Woman Killed in Halloween Store Shooting in Fairfield, CA

Constance Hages, 31, has been identified as the woman killed when a gunman opened fire inside a Spirit Halloween store at the Solano Town Center in Fairfield, California, on Friday night, NY Post Metro reports. Family members told investigators she was pregnant at the time of her death.

Hages died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds after shots rang out in the seasonal retailer around 8:30 p.m. Police announced the victim's identity Saturday afternoon.

Six other people were wounded in the attack. A 16-year-old boy, a 19-year-old man, and a 32-year-old man remain hospitalized in critical condition. A 23-year-old man is hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Two additional victims — a 19-year-old man and a 43-year-old man — were treated for gunshot wounds and released Saturday.

Authorities have not publicly released the names of the six surviving male victims. No information on a suspect or motive has been made public.
