Raceland teen charged with terrorizing over Snapchat school threat

According to lpso.net, Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre announced the arrest of a 17-year-old female student from Central Lafourche High School on a charge of terrorizing after she allegedly made an online threat against fellow students.

Christian Pollard, of Raceland, was taken into custody on Thursday evening. Investigators say she had posted a video to Snapchat on October 1, 2026, in which she threatened to kill students at the school. The video spread rapidly among students, parents, and school staff that same afternoon.

Following an investigation, deputies obtained a warrant for Pollard's arrest. She was subsequently booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex in Thibodaux. Bail has been set at $50,000.
