Kingston Hit-and-Run: Two Charged After Two-Month Investigation

According to midhudsonnews.com, Kingston City Police have arrested two individuals in connection with a hit-and-run accident that left a pedestrian in a coma on August 1 at the intersection of Broadway and Liberty Street.

Following a two-month investigation, officers arrested Justin Greico, 35, and Katie Potter, 38, on Wednesday, October 7.

Greico faces multiple charges, including assault, vehicular assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, tampering with physical evidence, failing to report a personal injury accident, reckless driving, and aggravated unlicensed operation.

Potter was charged with tampering with physical evidence, falsifying business records, and insurance fraud.

Kingston Police were assisted by the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, the County Crash Reconstruction Team, and the District Attorney's Office Investigations Unit. Members of the public were also credited with supporting the investigation.
