Two Arrested After Armed Intruders Kill 20-Year-Old in Bathlodge Home Invasion

Police have arrested two men and are actively searching for a third suspect following a deadly home invasion in Bathlodge that claimed the life of 20-year-old Saquania Anthony, antigua.news reports.

Officers were called to the scene at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Monday, September 21. On arrival, they found Anthony unresponsive with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at approximately 1:58 a.m. on Tuesday.

Preliminary investigations indicate that several people were inside the residence when three masked intruders allegedly forced their way in and opened fire.

A 24-year-old man sustained gunshot injuries and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he remains in stable condition. A 13-year-old boy was also shot and is described as being in stable but serious condition while receiving medical treatment.

Two male suspects were arrested shortly after the incident and remain in police custody. Investigators are continuing efforts to identify and locate the third person believed to have participated in the attack.

The Police Administration condemned the shooting as a senseless act of violence and called on anyone with information about the outstanding suspect to come forward immediately.
