Two Hungarian nationals were arrested in Vienna following a residential burglary and theft. Police found stolen bags and burglary tools in the possession of the men.

Arrest at Vienna Main Railway Station following apartment burglary
According to 5min.at, early last Wednesday, officers from the Favoriten district police command were called to a tram stop near the main railway station. Witnesses had reported two men going through several rucksacks and ladies' handbags.
At the scene, officers encountered a 20-year-old and a 42-year-old – both Hungarian nationals. The men were unable to provide credible information about the bags in their possession and were taken to a nearby police station for further clarification.
During a search of the individuals, officers found a pair of side cutters and a slotted screwdriver. The seized bags and rucksacks were traced to a 22-year-old woman. At her residential address, police officers discovered a forced apartment door and a ransacked flat.
The investigation revealed that the items had been stolen in the course of a residential burglary and theft. On the order of the Vienna State Prosecutor's Office, both suspects were arrested and remanded in custody.
