The Charleroi prosecutor's office has confirmed, according to dhnet.be, that a woman born in 1994 was placed under arrest warrant following acts of violence committed against her former partner during the past weekend in the Charleroi region.
The incident occurred on Sunday on public land. An altercation reportedly first broke out between the suspect and her ex-partner, born in 1999, before the woman struck him with her vehicle, according to initial investigative details communicated by the prosecutor's office.
The victim was hospitalised. Her vital prognosis is not reported to be at risk, the prosecutor's office states.
After being apprehended and deprived of liberty, the suspect was brought before an investigating judge. She was placed under arrest warrant for acts of domestic violence, harassment and vandalism.
