Police officers detained two people with narcotic substances in Pazardzhik region during the past twenty-four hours, the local police reported.
In the first case, a patrol from the Criminal Police sector in the regional city, assisted by colleagues from the district, stopped a light Opel vehicle for inspection near the village of Gelemenovo. Behind the wheel was a 27-year-old man from Panagurishte.
When he noticed the uniformed officers, the driver attempted to discard a plastic bag containing dry green plant matter. A quick test showed that the substance was a synthetic cannabinoid.
The second incident occurred the same evening in the village of Popintsi, which is located in the municipality of Panagurishte. There, criminal investigators and district inspectors carried out an inspection of a 29-year-old woman from the settlement. Two bags containing the same psychoactive substance were found on her.
