The Commission for Combating Corruption and Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property (CPCP) has initiated a procedure for the confiscation of property belonging to gambling boss Vasil Bozhkov, known as Cherepata. This was reported by Bivol, whose investigation — conducted jointly with data from the Panama Papers — has served as the basis for the action of the anti-corruption body.
Bozhkov's properties were identified during a journalistic investigation published by Bivol. CPCP has opened proceedings based on these findings.
