A 26-year-old man was arrested after testing positive for cocaine during a road check on the Burgas–Pomorie route and offering money to officers.

A 26-year-old man was stopped for a check on the road between Burgas and Pomorie. Tests for alcohol and drugs showed that he was driving under the influence of cocaine. While officers were carrying out the check, the driver attempted to give them two banknotes of 50 euros each in order to avoid sanctions.
The man was detained on the spot by officers from the Pomorie District Police Station. Two pre-trial proceedings have been initiated against him on an expedited basis – one for driving under the influence of drugs, and the other for attempting to bribe a law enforcement officer.
