A 52-year-old man with previous convictions has been detained at the District Police Station in Kubrat after making insults and death threats against a police officer whilst intoxicated.

A 52-year-old man with multiple criminal records and convictions has been detained at the building of the District Police Station in Kubrat. On 1 July, he entered the station and began insulting and threatening to kill a police inspector who was on duty.
The incident occurred during a check of a driver with a positive alcohol reading. The man made the threats towards the police officer at that exact moment.
A breathalyser test showed 1.78 per mille of alcohol in his blood.
