Kawan Paim Magalhães, known on social media as KGrau, was arrested temporarily on Wednesday (28th) during Operation Zero Degree, a Civil Police operation, in Feira de Santana, Bahia. According to information obtained by g1.globo.com, the influencer is under investigation on suspicion of involvement in an attempted double homicide that occurred on 6 August in the city centre.
With 264,000 followers on Instagram, KGrau builds his digital presence around radical motorcycle stunts and content associated with cars of different models, including luxury vehicles. The highlights on his profile make references to models such as Porsche, Golf GTI and Saveiro Surf, although the published images do not allow confirmation that the vehicles belong to the influencer. The stories also include promotion of betting platforms and digital raffles.
One of the oldest posts identified during the investigation is from 13 July 2023, when KGrau posted a video performing a motorcycle stunt, with the caption "The beginning of a dream". Other videos of the same type reach tens of thousands of views — one of the posts consulted had accumulated 86,700.
Attack occurred near Praça da Matriz
The crime under investigation took place near Praça da Matriz in Feira de Santana. According to the Civil Police, two people were struck by firearm shots in the episode. One of the victims, a 24-year-old perfume seller, was shot in the abdomen, left arm and back. The second victim, aged 20, was struck by a graze wound.
Images from security cameras and statements collected during the investigation pointed to the possibility of revenge as the motive for the attack. The authorities' suspicion is that the crime is related to the death of the father of one of those under investigation.
The investigation is being conducted by the 1st Territorial Police Station of Feira de Santana, which is responsible for investigating the circumstances of the case.
