A minor boy died on Saturday evening following a shooting in Dein. The shooters escaped in a black car towards Kanga.

Curacao.nu reports that on Saturday evening around 22:00 hours a minor boy was killed in a shooting in Dein, at the level of a truk'i pan. Police have not yet identified the victim.
A unit from Rio Canario arrived first at the location and found the young man unconscious on his stomach on the ground. A called ambulance could do nothing more for him.
According to preliminary investigation, a small black car drove alongside shortly before the incident. Occupants opened fire on the young man and struck him fatally. The vehicle subsequently fled in the direction of Kanga.
De Èxtra states that the incident demonstrates how many weapons are circulating in the community. During end-of-year checks, police have seized various firearms in recent days.
