A flat scandal involving former ODS politician Otakar Bradáč is heading to court. State prosecutor Petra Lastovecká has filed charges against four individuals in the case, including Bradáč, who previously headed the flat commission in the Brno-střed city district.
Bradáč was formerly a member of the Civic Democratic Party and, at the time he held his position on the flat commission, allegedly sought to influence the allocation of municipal flats, according to the investigation. Details of the charges remain unknown, but the case is connected with alleged improper practices in the management of the city's flat fund.
In addition to charges against the four individuals, Lastovecká submitted a proposal for a plea agreement with four other defendants. This procedure typically suggests that those involved are willing to admit responsibility in exchange for a lighter sentence.
