According to information from the iDNES.cz server, the name Jan Walica has emerged in connection with this case. The ANO movement presented him as the leader of its candidate list for municipal elections in Třinec at the end of May.
Walica appears in the context of an investigation focused on a system of fictitious training programmes. Companies allegedly drew down financial resources for employee education, whilst no actual training actually took place. The damage caused by this conduct was said to have harmed the European Union's budget.
