After a pursuit lasting several hours, Czech security forces apprehended a man who was carrying a firearm and moving in the vicinity of an educational facility.

A man armed with a firearm who appeared in the morning in the vicinity of a vocational school in Čelákovice on the north-eastern edge of the capital was detained in the afternoon. This occurred in the Prague district of Strašnice following a large-scale search operation in which approximately sixty police patrols were deployed.
Authorities informed the public of the case via the X network shortly after seven o'clock. In the initial phase, they warned that the wanted individual was not mentally stable and might be travelling in a blue Škoda Fabia. Later, they clarified that he had apparently moved to a borrowed red Renault Megane.
Before noon, police announced that the man had been spotted before eight o'clock in Brandýs nad Labem. The final arrest took place shortly before fourteen o'clock. Investigators will now examine all circumstances of the entire incident.
