Court acquits former manager of Karlova Studánka spa
The District Court in Bruntál ruled on Wednesday to acquit the former director of Horské lázně Karlova Studánka. The woman had faced charges of influencing a public contract at the state enterprise. According to the ruling, it was not possible to prove that she had committed a criminal offence.
The state prosecutor lodged an appeal against the decision. The case will thus continue before the higher court. The court did not disclose details about the value of the contract or the specific subject matter of the proceedings.
