The man is suspected of having sold narcotics in larger quantities over an extended period. He first came to the attention of the authorities during a street check on the night of 31 December 2025 to 1 January 2026. At that time, officers found almost two dozen grammes of cocaine on him as well as several thousand euros in cash. During a subsequent search of his flat, they also discovered ammunition.
At the current arrest, the suspect was once again carrying banknotes worth several hundred euros as well as small bags, which presumably contained cocaine and amphetamine. The public prosecutor's office is investigating him on suspicion of unauthorised drug trafficking in not insignificant quantities. The accused was previously known to police for offences involving violence and drugs.
