Robbers threaten employees with knife and escape
Three men raided a pet shop on Bodenseestrasse in Munich-Pasing on Wednesday evening at around 7.30 p.m. According to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, citing police, two of the suspects entered the shop masked with scarves and disposable masks.
The two employees – a 23-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man – initially retreated to back rooms. When they returned to the front shortly afterwards and confronted the intruders, they were threatened with a knife.
The young woman fled into a neighbouring drugstore, where an employee alerted police. By the time officers arrived, the three suspects had already left in the direction of Neuaubing S-Bahn station. A manhunt launched immediately thereafter yielded no results – the robbers obtained no loot.
Police are now seeking witnesses who can provide information about the fleeing men.
