The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (CBA) and the Central Bureau for Combating Criminality of the Polish Police (CBŚP) have searched three locations in Poland as part of an investigation into alleged tax fraud in Germany.
The Polish services have joined the investigation conducted by the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). The case concerns allegations that a group of suspects evaded taxes totalling over 2.6 million euros in Germany.
The Polish authorities carried out the searches in coordination with German and European investigative authorities. Further details regarding the seizures or arrests were not initially disclosed.
