At the Elisenhof cemetery in Bad Wünnenberg, unknown perpetrators removed numerous items from graves between Thursday (4 June, 3.00 p.m.) and Friday (5 June, 5.30 p.m.). A total of eight grave sites were affected.
The perpetrators apparently brought tools with them to detach crosses, grave lights and name letters from the stones and take them away. According to police, they are now searching for witnesses who observed suspicious persons or vehicles in the area near the cemetery during that time period.
