Albstadt: 32-year-old remanded in custody following drug find and weapons possession
As reported by Google News CH — Crime (de), the Hechingen public prosecutor's office and Reutlingen police headquarters are investigating a 32-year-old man from Albstadt in Zollernalbkreis. He is suspected of dealing in controlled drugs whilst armed and was provisionally detained on Thursday.
Criminal investigators searched the suspect's flat and seized several hundred grams each of cocaine, amphetamine, hashish and marijuana. In addition, investigators secured several knives and an alarm gun. The authorities believe the man operated a "brisk trade" in drugs.
The 32-year-old had initially come to the attention of the Balingen criminal police through other investigations. The police did not comment on the content of those investigations when asked by SWR.
The following day, the man was brought before a judge at Hechingen district court. The judge issued the arrest warrant requested by the public prosecutor's office. The suspect was subsequently taken to the correctional facility.
