Freising: Victim pursues alleged sex offender – witnesses intervene
In the Upper Bavarian town of Freising, a woman has pursued an alleged perpetrator after a sexual assault and detained him with the help of passers-by.

In Freising, a 35-year-old woman contributed to the investigation of a crime on her own on late Saturday evening. Shortly after 10 p.m. on Bahnhofstraße, a 29-year-old man groped her bottom as he passed by. The victim reacted immediately and pursued the man.
Several bystanders intervened and supported the pursuit. Together with the victim, they were able to pin the suspect to the ground until police officers arrived and took him into custody.
At Freising police station, the man was processed for identification purposes and subsequently released. A criminal investigation has now been launched against him.
