On Friday evening, an unknown pair attacked two guests outside a bar in Herrsching. Punches were thrown and a knife was used in the assault.

A brutal attack occurred outside a restaurant on Seestraße in Herrsching late Friday evening. Shortly before midnight, a man and a woman approached two guests who were sitting at an outdoor table. Without warning, the male perpetrator punched one of the two visitors in the face.
The accomplice then drew a blade. As the second guest attempted to disarm her, he suffered a cut wound to his hand. The two attackers subsequently fled and could not be apprehended despite search measures that were immediately launched.
Investigators in Herrsching are urgently seeking witnesses. The fleeing perpetrators are estimated to be between 25 and 35 years old and are said to have spoken English to each other during the incident. Information is being accepted by the local police station on 08152/93020.
