Prosecutors have conducted a raid at Deutsche Bank's Frankfurt headquarters.

Prosecutors in Frankfurt am Main conducted a search at the bank branches on the ground floor of Deutsche Bank's headquarters on Tuesday. The investigators made this public, as reported by Hungarian news website Telex.hu.
The search warrant was issued by a Frankfurt court in June. The prosecutor's office cited an ongoing investigation and initially provided no further details about the operation. Deutsche Bank has not commented on the matter thus far.
This is not the first time authorities have targeted Germany's largest bank. Investigations into suspected money laundering at the Frankfurt headquarters were already conducted in January of this year as well as in previous years.
Furthermore, the credit institution had to pay approximately 25 billion forints (around 63 million euros) in compensation to victims of Jeffrey Epstein several years ago. These victims had accused the bank of indirectly supporting the sexual exploitation network of the deceased US businessman.
