As an alleged motive for the act, the accused cites a bizarre fixation. He claims the flat-mate repeatedly mixed semen into his food, milk, and even tobacco. He made these accusations in letters from pre-trial detention, in which he wrote of alleged humiliations.
The judiciary is now examining whether the man suffers from delusional disorder. The defendant remained silent in court regarding the charges. Expert assessors are to clarify whether the conditions for attempted murder are satisfied or whether mental disorders played a role.
