In a district of Cologne, a passer-by observed several people getting out of a car. Shortly afterwards, he heard loud banging sounds. When the group noticed the witness, it quickly left the scene.
Officers launched a search and found the men's vehicle. There they arrested three of the suspects. Officers were also able to apprehend the fourth man later. A helicopter and police dogs were deployed during the search operation.
