Homemade explosives discovered at German power station substation
Multiple homemade explosives were discovered on Tuesday at a substation near a German coal-fired power plant. Several power lines were damaged, police and the grid operator reported.
A police spokesman stated that several improvised bombs were found at the Preilacki substation in the morning at approximately eight o'clock. The substation distributes electricity generated by the neighbouring Jänschwalde plant; the power station uses lignite and burns waste.
