Turkish hitman arrested in Valencia for attempted shooting murder in Germany
A 22-year-old Turkish national was arrested in Valencia after being sought by a German court for the Delmenhorst shooting in September 2025.

An Oldenburg court had sought two young Turkish nationals for the attempted murder committed in the early hours of 13 September 2025 in Delmenhorst, Lower Saxony. One of them, identified as K. K., aged 22, was detained last Thursday on Camino de Moncada in Valencia, according to lasprovincias.es. The second suspect managed to escape before officers entered the building.
The operation was carried out by the Fugitive Tracking Group and the UDYCO of the National Police, with the collaboration of German police and Europol. The detention took place within the framework of a European Investigation Order (OEI) and a European Arrest and Surrender Order (OEDE) issued against both fugitives, who had been located living in the capital of Túria.
The shooting: thirteen rounds fired with a submachine gun on an open street
The attack occurred at 1.15 in the morning. The victim, a 48-year-old man, had just left a bar when a third suspected accomplice, who was monitoring his movements from inside the establishment, alerted his associates. They followed him on a Yamaha MT10 motorcycle, their faces hidden under helmets.
Whilst one drove the motorcycle, the other drew level with the victim, who was travelling on an electric scooter, and fired a burst of thirteen shots with a Ceska Skorpion VZ 61 submachine gun. Seven of the projectiles hit the target. The two occupants of the motorcycle fled immediately and the wounded man managed to crawl to a nearby establishment, where he collapsed.
The emergency services managed to save his life. The European order issued against the two fugitives explicitly highlighted their dangerousness and the seriousness of the injuries inflicted on the victim, classified as potentially fatal.
Two Glock pistols and false documentation in the raids
During the house searches carried out at the two properties, the special units of the GOES of the National Police seized two Glock pistols ready for use. Additionally, they seized false documentation in the names of third parties and 1,900 euros in 50-euro notes.
Neighbours in the area witnessed the police deployment during the operation. K. K. was arrested at the moment he was about to enter his home. His accomplice, whose identity has not been revealed, was not present in the building at the time of the intervention and remains at an unknown location.
