Assault victim found with facial injuries at railway station south of Holbæk

During the night of Saturday at 03:25, Mid- and West Zealand Police received a report of a disturbance at Tølløse railway station, which is located south of Holbæk. This is reported by B.T.

When officers arrived and searched the area, they found traces of a fight and a 46-year-old man with significant facial injuries.

"We received a report of some trouble at Tølløse railway station at 03:25. When we get there, after searching around, we can establish that there has been some kind of fight. And subsequently we also encountered a person with some significant injuries," says the police district's on-duty chief Lasse Jensen.

The sequence of events has not yet been fully clarified, and police do not know the perpetrator.

"Right now we still haven't fully clarified the sequence of events, and therefore we would really benefit from reports from witnesses who saw some kind of fight at the railway station or on a train on the way there, in order to get closer to who committed this assault," adds the on-duty chief.

Police particularly urge people who were at the station or travelled on the regional train between Kalundborg and Copenhagen during the night to come forward.

"We believe there were people present at the station who may have seen something, and we would very much like to hear from them," Jensen emphasises.

Mid- and West Zealand Police receive reports on telephone 114.
