Four masked men convicted of murder of teenager in Aarhus North

Vestre Court of Appeal on Thursday morning found all four defendants guilty of the murder of a 19-year-old man. This is evident from a press statement from the prosecution authority, which B.T. reports.

During the night of 15 December 2024, four masked young men attacked the 19-year-old in front of an entrance on Reginehøjvej in Aarhus North. They were armed with knives and an axe. The man died from his injuries.

In district court, three of the four defendants were convicted under the milder paragraph concerning gross violence resulting in death – not for murder. The Court of Appeal has now increased this assessment and found them guilty of murder.

The fourth defendant was already convicted of murder in district court, and the Court of Appeal has upheld that his guilt is proven beyond reasonable doubt.

Sentences for all four men are expected to be handed down later on Thursday.
