Police attended a school in Kalundborg on Tuesday following an explosion, according to Politiken. Mid- and West Zealand Police confirmed the incident shortly after 12:30 p.m.

"This concerns an explosion that has taken place at the school's premises," police wrote on the messaging service Politi Update.

All children and staff have left the school. Parents have been informed via Aula and are encouraged to follow the school's instructions.

"All pupils are out of the school, and we ask parents to act according to the instructions that the school has posted on Aula," police added.

According to police, there is no danger to people in the area. "Follow police instructions on site," the authority wrote.

Police have not disclosed which school is involved but promise to update when further information becomes available in the case.
